TIGHTEN - UP: THE HISTORY
Tighten-Up were founded in 1985 by Hugh Bearryman and David Bond, initially specialising in stainless steel fastenings. Through listening to customers, and tailoring our business according to their needs, the company has continually expanded having moved to larger premises in Twickenham. As demand has grown, many more fixings, including commercial aerospace, have become part of the standard range.
Since the year 2000 we have acquired three smaller businesses and moved also into tools and hardware, enabling us to offer a full complement of industrial products. We have a very experienced team, with over 100 years in the fastener industry. We believe we can offer a service second to none.
TIGHTEN - UP: THE QUALITY
Tighten-Up are registered to ISO 9001:2000, and can offer batch traceability on all parts. All goods can be supplied with a certificate of conformity. Special items can be delivered complete with test certification if required. We ensure that parts are checked prior to despatch in accordance with our rigid quality control systems. In addition, we only use suppliers and manufacturers that supply the best quality available to us.
